The State requires that Umpires calling in Championship play requires them to attend at least one school within a 3 year period.  There are only 4 schools scheduled in the state. If you miss this one you will have to travel; the closest one after this one is in Lufkin. It is important that we have as many umpires attend this school.

We are only 2 weeks away from Dec. 3rd and registrations for the school are coming in slow.  The deadline for registration is getting close; to avoid paying the extra $10.00 fee you need to get your registration in.  If you cannot get the form to me contact me via email and let me know you will be attending. Lunch is being provided and I need a head count to make sure I order enough food and drinks.

We have our district tournaments 6,8,10,12 &14 U during the month of May plus the 14 A/B state tournament as well as the 6/8 NIT. scheduled in June,there is plenty of work for umpires. All of the state tournaments except the 6 & 8 U are on the 3rd  weekend of June, the 6 & 8 U NIT tournaments are on the 2nd weekend in June and the 6/8 State is on the 1st weekend in June.
